I joined Rundown.com’s editorial staff in 2010 to launch its San Francisco site. I created an editorial calendar, then wrote and researched each piece. I was promoted to Deputy Editor a year later and began helping hire and onboard editors in new markets, and edit their work. I also helped make key content decisions on a national level.

Goals:

Rundown’s aim was to deliver fun, actionable content into as many inboxes as possible five days a week. Within two years, I’d grown San Francisco’s subscribership to 100k. We hit 1 million subscribers nationally shortly thereafter.

I left Rundown in September of 2013. I look back at those three years fondly and have remained in touch with many of my former colleagues.
