The Story Of Our Copywriting Partnership:

I met Armed Mind founder Mike Rudin when we were both working with Rundown.com. When I struck out on my own in 2013, he reached out and asked if I’d be interested in copywriting. We’ve been working together ever since. Our partnership has spanned dozens of copywriting, social media, and branding projects and continues to be productive and inspiring.

 

The Goal:

In fall of 2016, Armed Mind tapped me for a project they were working on with Fox Theatrical. Ice Age: Collision Course was due out on DVD and Blu-Ray, and Fox wanted to reengage older fans while also activating a new audience. We accomplished this by building Ice Age Mission Control, an educational online game blending clips from the film with intergalactic factoids. I researched and wrote all copy, and provided input on design and functionality. The result: an out-of-this-world experience that melded the movie’s characteristic slapstick humor with educational info to immerse and entertain fans.
